You are BOTH wrong
By Amazon Customer
Only goes to prove how you were right, doesn't really tell you how to go about fixing it. Yes, we all know men and women think different, and some men have serious committment issues. Honestly, in a disagreement, frequently BOTH people have valid points. Maybe it really is all his fault, but YOU ARE the fool who stayed.. so whose fault is it really??

Some Good Advice, But It Gets Lost
By Born with Book
Like self-help books, relationship books can be dangerous. Everyone has an opinion and if you read too many of them, you end up spending far too much time not doing anything because you don't know what the right thing to do is. Too many choices can be paralyzing.
It Really Is Not Your Fault by Magda B. Brajer is an interesting book, though. It's full of real-life stories as told to the author about relationships gone wrong and the behavior that women sometimes exhibit in an effort to get their guy back. Those are always interesting, even if it's only in that "train-wreck" kind of way. Ms. Brajer seems to have a good handle on why women act as they do when relationships with their partners go south. Frustration, anger, and hurt lead us to act in ways that we normally wouldn't. Emotions run high and can lead to all hell breaking loose.
I am no different in that regard.
That being said, though, I am not a big fan of blaming men for how we women (re)act to a situation, and this is why I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5. Regardless of what men do to push our buttons (purposefully or otherwise) we are all responsible for our own actions. Blaming someone else for our own choices in behavior doesn't do much to solve whatever problem is at hand and it, in fact, puts us in the victim role by removing our own accountability. Ms. Brajer does offer some good advice, but for me it got lost in the blame game.

Great Help for Women Sufffering
By Danielle D.
Who hasn't been in a relationship where your boyfriend seemed to not want to commit and take the relationship to the next level? As women, we always want to know what we did wrong. How could we have fixed the problem? Maybe if we just tried a little harder, everything would have worked out.
But deep down, we know that's not true. Magda Brajer cracks open our fears and really digs in to find the cause of all our pain. Is it our fault? Could we have done more?
This short read, is full of real life stories of women devoted to their partners, who in turn just couldn't truly commit and have a grown-up relationship.
This book isn't just for single women. Even as married women, we still struggle through some of the same issues with our husbands. Yes, he's committed. He is with us every single day. But, maybe he's detached. We need to stop blaming ourselves for every conflict that arises, and stop putting ourselves on the back burner to try to make our partner happy. Somethings are truly beyond our control.
A great book with insight into modern day relationships.
